Bowling for Kisses

So I had a good date last night :) I'm excited and and a lil anxious all at once about this guy, cause I know there's a strong possibility of me falling for him. I'm wary of the fact that we seem to have great chemistry, because in the past that's always led to things moving way too fast. I don't want to go too fast with this one.

I got a letter from my apt complex about the level 4 drought now for all of GA and to conserve water. So while I didn't take a quick shower instead of a bath this morning, I did take a page from my Japanese homestay mother. I used the clean bathwater to do some laundry, and then hung up the items to dry.

Anyway, so it goes.

We are not in a drought - but I laughed at the reusing water. We reuse bath water -nearly every bath - but not as you did. My two girls and I are always in and out of each other's bath water. I think it started when they were toddlers. If I got in the bath, and they "caught me" then they would be stripping and climbing in as fast as could be. We are all too big to get in together now - but when one climbs out - if the water is still hot - someone else grabs a book and climbs in. My mother grew up for the first several years, with no running water. They were Little House on the Praire with a tub on the kitchen floor and heating the water and baths only on Saturday. Although they didn't go to "meeting" on Sunday - so I am not sure why - perhaps just a tradition. Cleanist person (usually the youngest) went in first.

I thought of you yesterday - my 17 year old son was lamenting (sp?) thge writer's strike and STAR TREK movie hold up. He says that he and I are going to have to go see it about 12 times each to make sure the box office numbers are high enough for them to take a chance on another series. He says that as soon as Stargate Atlantis finishes its run - he doesn't know what he is going to do.
